Breakfast Protein Bar Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cups Filtered Water

  • ½ Cup Steel-Cut Oats

  • Pinch of salt

  • ¼ Cup Oat Milk

  • ½ Tsp vanilla

  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamons

  • 1 Apple (thinly sliced)

  • 2 Tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter

  • 2 x @wearegreenback Peanut Butter Protein Bars (unwrapped)

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Once the water is boiling, add oats and salt. Reduce heat to low and cook 15-20 minutes, or until most of the water is absorbed and the oats are tender.

  2. Stir in oat milk, vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup.

  3. Place @wearegreenback protein bar into the microwave for 40-60 seconds (or to your liking) to soften slightly.

  4. Once ready to serve, assemble the fresh apple over the oats. Carefully place the warm protein bar over the top. Drizzle with peanut butter. Enjoy!
